that dirty word: politics

Oh, I really did it. I try NEVER to engage in political discussions in conversations with people other than my very close friends or family and certainly try never to share my political beliefs on FB. I failed somewhat today (hopefully never again). But here, on my private blog, I will give YOU, my close friends and family, my view.

Here's how I am voting:

• I am voting as a Christian (this is very broad and includes many aspects).
• I am voting as a teacher (all to do with education). 
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on gay rights.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on abortion.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on who will decide which Supreme Justices to appoint.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on the economy.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on government spending.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on the national debt.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on the tax structure.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on global warming.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on welfare.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on universal healthcare.
• I am voting as a person with an opinion on illegal immigrants.  
• I am voting for who will do the RIGHT thing, no matter the political party.
